We thought it only fitting of a blanket saturated with more than 2,000 individually hand-sewn sequins. Lush cream wool with bright white wool stripes, the handira features 3” fringe and oodles of bushy fringe work throughout the blanket, measuring 78 x 42”. There are subtle kilim stripes beneath all that fabulous fringe and occasional tufts of colorful thread can be seen lounging amongst the thicker bushes of wool. Simple cream wool neck ties are still intact. This vintage is in good condition- there is a faint green stain (please see photo) on one area. The stain is less than 1” in length and we have made no attempt to remove it.
