Habeeba means “beloved” in Arabic and we feel this Moroccan wedding blanket is certainly worthy of the title. Measuring 72 x 47”, this handira features warm, cream wool with subtle white stripe detail. Finished with 1.5” of fringe, it features more than 1,000 hand-sewn sequins. It should be noted that there is a sizable area of discoloration in the middle of the blanket (please see photo). We’ve made no attempt to remove the discoloration and it may well clean up just fine- we’re not certain. We think it’s a sign of how “beloved” this particular handira truly was.
