Sabra Blankets
Wander into nearly any Moroccan blanket and carpet shop and you’ll see rickety looms and nimble hands spinning their magic in back rooms. Modern textile artists create unique, handmade treasures by utilizing ancient weaving techniques passed from one generation to the next. These exquisite blankets are one of my most cherished Moroccan finds: the colors are brilliant, the artistry is apparent and the effect is undeniable.
