Paragliding Paragliding morocco

Get ready to Fly!! Hold Your breath!! Paragliding is only for the braves…

Probably the first thing that occurred to you when you have read the title “Adventure of paragliding between the sky and land of morocco is that this must be a mistake, But let me tell you that  in Morocco, which I call the land of mystery, you will not regret to pack your bags and buy a ticket to come here and experience it for yourself…

Paragliding is one of the most preferable activities for tourists to do in Morocco. Apart from the diverse things that you can see in Morocco, from its nature to its culture, including cuisine, traditional handicrafts, hospitality and different smells that will fill your nostrils whenever you are in the souks, tourists always look for something new that can push them closer to a different adventure, this why paragliding is one of the many activities recommended by tourists, and Morocco has a different ambiance for that.

Paragliding is a sport

Paragliding by definition “is the recreational and competitive adventure sport of flying paragliders: lightweight, free-flying, foot-launched glider aircraft with no rigid primary structure” thanks Wikipedia!, but as with any other sport, words are never enough to describe what it’s like, and here, action is better than a 1000 words.

Paragliding as an Adventure

As a respected sport as the others, this one is more special due to it being a sensual adventure, passionate and will definetly take you to the edge of sanity as you experience spurts of oxytocin release.

In the first moments of take-off your heart will beat strong and the rush of adrenaline will probably make you sweat as you swing high up in the sky your fear will disperse and will be replaced by an amazing feeling triggered by dopamine being released, your body will feel as if it’s floating and you can catch all the beautiful views of the region.

For the sake of safety, a pilot will be with you In your first time and probably the second as well , taking-off and going down with paragliding is not an easy task or something that you can read a manual for and wish for the best.

Paragliding as a hobby and therapy

It’s clear that this hobby is passionately repeated with enthusiasm for those that have experimented it, some revisit Morocco just to relive the experiment of flying freely.

The benefits of this game are numerous, it boosts self-confidence, but most importantly activates the reward/loss system in our brains and releases dopamine (a chemical in the brain that effects pleasure and other related emotions), Finally, and without doubt, the equivalent of jumping with paragliding is a thousand trip to a shrink.

You can find a lot of agencies with which you can book with, or you can contact us for free consultation.

if visiting the Atlas mountains is included in your travel program do not waste the chance to experiment this unforgettable adventure.

Here is a quote I found while searching for information:

‘While the high flights were more spectacular, the low ones were fully as valuable for training purposes. Skill comes by the constant repetition of familiar feats rather than by a few overbold attempts at feats for which the performer is yet poorly prepared.’

‘…we have not felt that our few hours of practice is sufficient to justify ambitious attempts too hastily. Before trying to rise to any dangerous height a man ought to know that in an emergency his mind and muscles will work by instinct rather than by conscious effort. There is no time to think.’

Wilbur Wright 1902
